A discount retail chain has been exonerated in a premises liability case.

Marceline Cadet claimed she slipped and fell over a flatbed dolly while shopping at a Marshalls store in Plantation in 2012. Cadet, who claimed she injured her neck and back, sued the store owner, TJX Cos. Inc., for negligence. Cadet’s counsel claimed the dolly was unattended near the checkout counter, creating a dangerous condition.
