The photographs didn’t lie, Palm Beach Gardens attorney Jim Hicks said: His client’s air conditioning company truck didn’t have much visible damage from being rear-ended by a linen delivery truck.
But the accident still caused David Slimbock shoulder and back injuries requiring three surgeries, Hicks argued, landing a $1.4 million settlement from the linen services company on Jan. 6.
