Trial lawyer Jeff Tomberg thought he had enough time for a quick bathroom run before a hearing but returned to the courtroom to find the judge granting summary judgment to opposing counsel.
That decision brought him a moment of notoriety Wednesday, when the Fourth District Court of Appeal reversed in his favor with a ruling discussing procedural due process.
