A state appellate court dismissed a lawsuit Wednesday against the Argentinian soccer association because the action was too closely tied to the Argentinian government, which cannot be sued.
GMI LLC sued the Asociacion del Futbol Argentino, the governing body of Argentinian soccer, alleging a breach of a deal awarding soccer media rights to GMI for 20 years.
