Farm Stores Corp. persuaded a Miami-Dade judge to set aside a $1.8 million jury award and enter final judgment in its favor.
The Miami-based drive-thru convenience store chain was on the losing end of the December verdict, which awarded breach-of-contract damages to Zenith Insurance Co. The insurer argued the chain refused to pay workers’ compensation insurance premiums it owed.
