Miami-Dade County commercial property owners don’t have it easy when it comes to paying taxes.

Sweetwater’s Dolphin Mall shelled out more than $10.7 million on 2016 property taxes — the highest paid countywide. That’s much higher than the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, which paid about $4.3 million last year, or the iconic Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, which paid $2.8 million, according to Commercial Cafe, an online real estate platform.
