Fane Lozman is a former Marine fighter pilot who had a successful career as a commodities trader in Chicago. He’s well-equipped to handle municipal politics and a sometimes hostile judicial system.
He famously prevailed in an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. His lawyers convinced the justices that his houseboat, which Riviera Beach officials destroyed four years earlier, was a floating home and not a mere vessel.
