Since May 2014, Jennifer Ellis has been a member of a small legal team managing all labor and employment matters for Tyco, a publicly traded fire safety and security company that employs more than 60,000 people in over 900 locations around the world.
As Tyco’s employment and labor counsel, a majority of her day-to-day duties and responsibilities include providing strategic and practical legal advice, as well as counseling and support, to human resources personnel, senior business leaders and management regarding labor and employment issues both in the U.S. and in other jurisdictions where the company operates, Ellis said.
