Chief Palm Beach Circuit Judge Jeffrey Colbath has withdrawn his second attempt at finding a way to speed up foreclosure cases.
But his decision Wednesday came a day before foreclosure Circuit Judge Richard Oftedal issued a standing order intended to accomplish the same thing by giving litigants up to 60 days to get hearings on non-evidentiary motions or face a ruling based solely on the filings in hand.
