With the construction of two mega-mall projects underway in Miami’s urban core, a revamp of the retail strip anchoring the city’s Design District and an expansion of the famed Bal Harbour Shops in the works, it would appear South Florida retail is having its moment in the sun.

Nowhere is the light shining brighter than in Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road, where institutional investors have piled in during the current real estate cycle, driving prices on property to levels few would have considered prudent just a few years back.
