The proposed $19.5 million sale of Miami developer Renzo Renzi's prime Brickell-area site is on hold until at least next week after the emergence of a new potential buyer willing to pay "significantly" more.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Laurel M. Isicoff in Miami today postponed a ruling on an agreement to sell the 33,927-square-foot site to Crystal Tower on Brickell Plaza LLC until Tuesday. Crystal sought to buy the parcels at the corner of Southeast Eighth Street and First Avenue and pay $5.2 million to Miami-based Crescent Heights Inc. for a partial assignment of a foreclosure judgment secured by 1.3 acres on Coral Way that is not part of the proposed sale.
