Two housing advocacy groups have reached a settlement in a federal discrimination suit against Cornerstone Group Development Corp. for $1.55 million plus potentially millions of dollars for inspections, modifications and employee training on disabled access requirements.

The National Fair Housing Alliance Inc. and West Palm Beach Coalition for Independent Living Options sued the Hollywood-based affordable-housing developer in 2011 for allegedly failing to make apartments and common areas accessible to people with disabilities at more than 50 developments in Florida.
