A Brevard County jury ordered a Melbourne restaurant to pay about $232,000 to two patrons who claimed that they suffered injuries when their car crashed into a large pothole in the restaurant’s parking lot.

On Oct. 20, 2017, plaintiff Timothy Rubin, a 45-year-old self-employed man, was driving in the parking lot of Grills Riverside Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar at 6075 N. Highway 1, in Melbourne. Plaintiff Nicole Kylin, a 44-year-old self-employed woman, was a passenger.
