Gov. Rick Scott on Monday named Coral Gables attorney Michael A. Hanzman to replace the late Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Maynard “Skip” Gross.

Hanzman has been of counsel with Ackerman Link and Sartory since 2008 and previously practiced with Hanzman and Criden from 1994 to 2007, Zack Hanzman Ponce Tucker Korge & Gillespie from 1990 to 1994 and Floyd Pearson Richman Greer Weil from 1985 to 1990.
