U.S. Magistrate John O’Sullivan and Miami-Dade Circuit Judges Jerald Bagley and Robert Scola Jr. have made the cut to fill an open federal judgeship in South Florida.

The Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission interviewed 16 applicants Tuesday at the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Federal Courthouse in Miami before reducing its list of candidates to three, according to chairman Kendall Coffey of Coffey Burlington in Miami.
