Carlos J. Colman Sr. claimed a shopping cart jerked back and struck him when its wheels got stuck in a threshold at a Home Depot store in Miami in 2011. Colman, who was diagnosed with cervical and lumbar herniations and a shoulder impingement, sued Home Depot U.S.A. Inc.
