A driver has been exonerated in a collision with a bicyclist.

Stephanie Goodrich, then 35, claimed Thomas Nelson’s vehicle hit her bike while turning left from Route A1A to Commercial Boulevard in May 2013. Goodrich, who was knocked unconscious, was diagnosed at an emergency room with blunt force trauma. She underwent three craniotomies and had a portion of her right temporal lobe removed. Her neuropsychologist opined she suffered cognitive impairments that would affect her the rest of her life.
