A case about a motorcycle-vehicle collision that severely injured the cyclist has been settled for a seven-figure sum.

Witny Michel’s motorcycle collided with Susan Weil’s turning vehicle in Broward County in October 2013. He sued Weil for negligence, claiming she violated his right-of-way. Weil suffered fractures in both legs and his right hand and compression fractures of spinal discs. He underwent surgery and a year of physical therapy. He claimed reduced mobility and an inability to do high-impact activities.
