A Southern Florida firm has been exonerated in a case involving alleged discrimination.
After Cegeste Barthelus was fired from his senior network administrator post at G4S Government Solutions Inc. in February 2011, he sued for discrimination based on race/national origin. Barthelus, who is Haitian-American, alleged he was given unjustified, poor performance reviews and alleged he did not receive a pay increase, asserting all other nonblack, non-Haitian employees did get raises.
