Details: Boca Raton-based MDVIP Inc. formed a network of physicians in 2000 offering concierge medical services for patients with deep pockets and discriminating taste in health care providers.
MDVIP has grown into one of the nation’s largest and best-known concierge services. It operates in 43 states with 784 doctors and annual membership fees of about $1,600. Private equity investor Summit Partners acquired the company from Procter & Gamble Co. in 2014.
