A Miami mail carrier who claimed she hurt her neck, back and wrist when she tripped on a sidewalk recovered $24,972.
Martina Minguez, then 40, was at 2701 SW 30th Ave. delivering mail. She claimed disc herniations and carpal tunnel syndrome of the right wrist. She claimed lasting pain and weakness in the hand. She claimed the sidewalk there was cracked and unleveled. She claimed there was no warning of the dangerous condition.
