A motorist who claimed neck and lower back injuries in a parking lot collision recovered $3,500.
Maria Renteria, then 35, was driving her SUV in a parking lot in Belle Glade when the driver of a Palm Beach County truck backed out of a space and into her front driver’s side. Renteria claimed the driver did not maintain a proper lookout while backing out and failed to raise the truck’s tailgate in violation of printed warnings on his vehicle.
