A jury awarded $636,062 to a dentist who claimed he suffered a permanent neck injury in a motor vehicle accident.
Dr. Jackie Johns, then 56, was operating his sedan on I-95 in Palm Beach County when a driver operating a sedan struck the rear of Johns’ vehicle. He was diagnosed with herniated discs at C2-3 and C3-4. He claimed he continues to have pain and limitations that make it difficult to perform activities of daily living as well as his dental job. He claimed he had to close one of his dental practices.
