A motorcyclist recovered more than $1.6 million for multiple injuries he suffered in a collision with a bus.
Roger Thompson Jr., then 42, was riding in Jacksonville when a city bus operated by Vanessa Merriweather turned in front of him, causing him to collide with the bus. Thompson suffered horizontal, pyramidal and transverse facial fractures; bilateral femur shaft fractures; a ruptured aorta; and a traumatic brain injury.
