A jury awarded more than $1.2 million to a man who claimed he suffered neck, back and shoulder injuries when the van he was driving was broadsided.
Michael Collins, then 50, was operating a passenger shuttle van northbound on Australian Avenue at Palm Beach International Airport Drive. As he attempted a left turn, a sedan driven southbound on Australian by Samuel Charles struck the van. Collins claimed Charles ran a red light.
