A jury decided a man wasn’t liable for an intersection collision in which two women claimed they suffered neck and back injuries.

Carolina Cardwell, then in her 20s, was driving her 1995 Honda sedan on Tamiami Trail in Naples. Natalia Olivera, also then in her 20s, was a passenger. At Tamiami and Third Avenue, Cardwell’s car collided with a Pontiac G6 driven by William Allen, who was traveling in the opposite direction and attempting a left turn. The women claimed both drivers had a green light, so Allen needed to wait for traffic to pass before turning.
