2015 Annual Managing Partners Survey
The Daily Business Review is conducting its annual managing partners survey, a snapshot of attitudes toward and expectations about the South Florida legal industry and economy. The DBR seeks responses from managing partners at South Florida law firms and partners in charge of South Florida law offices. The confidential survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. Firm leaders are asked about attorney headcounts, demographics, projections for hiring and promotions, financial expectations, pro bono efforts, growth plans and perspectives on the year ahead.
The more responses we receive, the DBR will be able to produce a more accurate and reliable overview of South Florida’s legal community. Please join in.
Feel free to contact research manager Jeanne Graham at email@example.com or 512-990-5773 with any questions. Responses are due by Friday, Aug. 28.
Top Verdicts Recognition
The Daily Business Review is pleased to announce its second annual Florida Verdicts Hall of Fame Awards. The practice areas being honored this year are: Admiralty, Contracts, Intellectual Property, Medical Malpractice and Wrongful Death. In future years, other practice areas will be recognized.
Induction into Daily Business Review's Florida Verdicts Hall of Fame is based solely on four years of data from cases submitted to the Verdict Search, an affiliate of the DBR. The cases were ranked by size of the verdict. The dollar value listed indicates that returned by the judge or jury or reported in the settlement. It does not include legal fees, prejudgment interest or any other adjustments.
The top five verdicts in each category have been selected and the firms below will be honored and presented their award at The Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne, Florida on September 10, 2015.
In addition, we will also recognizing Christian Searcy of Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley in West Palm Beach as this year’s Lifetime Achiever Honoree.
