A bit of good news for embattled West Palm Beach-based Ocwen Loan Servicing: Its customer satisfaction score rose 11 points—but it’s still one of the lowest in an industry where consumers believe providers care more about profit than service.
Ocwen is among the nation’s largest nonbank loan servicers, handling billing, payment collection and other administrative tasks for lenders. There’s no word on how the financial services firms it serves grade its work, but their customers gave tepid reviews.
