Power commercial real estate broker Edie Laquer gave Miami Jewish Health Systems an early holiday gift in the form of a $5 million check.
The donation will help the health care provider build the EmpathiCare Village, a residential complex for the care of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-related disorders. The village will be the first memory-support residential development of its kind, Miami Jewish Health said in a news release.
