A Japanese conglomerate has re-entered the downtown Miami market with one of the biggest real estate deals of the year.
Sumitomo Corp. of Americas, a New York-based affiliate of Japan’s Sumitomo Corp., purchased the office tower and air rights to the iconic 47-story Miami Tower, famous for its color-changing LED lighting, in a deal that closed Thursday.
