Miami’s trophy Espirito Santo Plaza changed hands in a $142 million deal that transferred control to Dallas-based real estate investment firm Gaedeke Group.

The 36-story tower at 1395 Brickell Ave. was sold by Estoril Inc., a Miami subsidiary of the defunct Banco Espirito Santo of Lisbon. It’s a high-density mixed-used project with luxury condominiums, hotel rooms and retail space covering a full block in Miami’s financial district.
