A software executive broke Broward County pricing records when he dropped $4.4 million on a posh waterfront condominium on the 22nd floor of the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale Beach, according to brokerage house Douglas Elliman.
Scott Scherr, CEO of Weston-based Ultimate Software Group Inc., scooped up the 2,827-square-foot condo for about $1,556 per square foot, public records show—a figure more on par with Miami Beach.
