Just a few months after its December groundbreaking, One Thousand Museum tower has already broken another kind of record. Site builders say the augercast pile, a type of building foundation created by drilling into the ground with a hollow-stem drill and then pumping in cement, is the deepest in the history of Miami-Dade county at 177 feet.
