Terra Group is betting its corporate fortunes on new waterfront condominiums in Miami’s Coconut Grove, and when it comes to choosing where to live the company president has picked a nearby secluded estate.

David Martin, president of Terra Group, and his wife Christina dropped $14 million for the home at 2999 Brickell Ave. The house, on a secluded waterfront spit of land between Rickenbacker Causeway and the historic Vizcaya Museum & Gardens estate, features “lush mangroves and an oversized Moroccan-inspired terrace with 17-foot high ceilings that overlook the plaza and tennis courts on the property,” according to marketing materials. Other features include a library and pool. The three-story, seven-bedroom, 7½-bathroom property totals 12,500 square feet. This transaction was first reported in the South Florida Business Journal.
