A Miami agency wants to bring new nightlife attractions to the blighted Overtown neighborhood, and two grants would send over $2 million to two politically connected organizations.
The Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency approved a $1.25 million grant in December to build a restaurant and club on 173 NW 11th St. as the first step in implementing the plan.
