A sale fetched the highest price per square foot for property off the water in Coral Gables’ exclusive Cocoplum enclave since the housing crash, a broker involved in the transaction told the Daily Business Review.

Oscar Teran of brokerage Avanti Way said the sale of the 4,953-square-foot house at 125 Gavilan Ave. is the priciest nonwaterfront Cocoplum sale at $565 per square foot since 2008. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home sold for $2.8 million.
