The lawsuits are mounting against North Palm Beach developer Nick Mastroianni, and the latest case—a contract dispute over EB-5 fundraising—put him on the losing end of an $800,000 judgment.

Contractor George Ekins filed suit in federal court against three limited liability companies linked to Mastroianni’s Harbourside Place, a 10-acre mixed-use development touted as Jupiter’s new downtown. The project will feature public and private marinas, a 15,000-square-foot amphitheater, the four-star Wyndham Grand Jupiter hotel, ground-floor restaurants, stores, Class A office space and a casual-dining restaurant by golf legend Tiger Woods.
