Billionaire real estate mogul and former U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Greene keeps up his buying spree in West Palm Beach, paying $1.5 million for a vacant waterfront parcel.

Greene has been snapping up the last major developable sites along the city’s waterfront. In May, he told the Daily Business Review his acquisitions could reach $250 million. He picked up 1.55 acres Thursday at 2023 N. Flagler Drive overlooking Currie Park and the Intracoastal Waterway. The price worked out to $967,000 per acre.
