An architecture firm that’s a favorite of Miami Beach developers is merging into a much larger Canadian construction company.
ADD Inc., a 210-person architecture and planning firm based in Boston and Miami, has agreed to merge with Edmonton, Alberta-based Stantec Inc. The deal is a way for Stantec to leverage’s ADD’s presence in the Eastern United States. Stantec, which has over 14,000 employees worldwide, is publicly traded in the Toronto Stock Exchange.
