Investors are back along the Miami River, this time on the north side, picking up large parcels for flashy high-rises.
During the last real estate boom, investment dollars flowed to east Little Havana and along the southern end of River Drive, where developers created the area’s first residential projects in 20 years. Groups like Neo Concepts LLC and Miami Riverfront Partners LLC broke ground on 7,000 residences and had 16 projects in the works along the 5½-mile stretch of river from Biscayne Bay almost to Miami International Airport.
