Miami Beach officials on Monday unveiled plans for an 800-room convention-focused hotel with 70,000 square feet of ballroom space.
In a letter to Mayor Philip Levine and the other six members of the City Commission, City Manager Jimmy Morales presented four possible sites for the hotel, urging the commission to make a decision at its regular meeting Wednesday. The proposal will also be presented Tuesday to an advisory board that manages the convention center.
