A major Coral Gables business complex marketed for its Old World charm and modern amenities has changed hands in a $101 million deal.

The 467,325-square-foot Douglas Entrance complex at 800 Douglas Road sold Tuesday for $100.75 million, or $216 per square foot. Its La Puerta Del Sol building, which houses ballroom and event space, dates back to 1927 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
