The Fourth District Court of Appeal on Wednesday reversed an award of attorney fees against would-be buyers who lost claims they were duped into believing Donald Trump was developing a 24-story condo-hotel tower bearing his name on Fort Lauderdale beach.
The panel largely sided with SB Hotel Associates LLC, the project’s actual developer, upholding Broward Circuit Judge Jeffrey Streitfeld’s ruling and award of costs in SB’s favor. But it reversed on attorney fees.
