Cape Coral Wal-Mart employee Linda Vo didn’t know what to do when she found a cell phone that displayed images of children in sexually suggestive poses.

Now a federal appellate court has approved what police eventually did with the cell, using it to build a strong case against the couple that lost the HTC smart phone. The judges affirmed long prison sentences for Jennifer Sparks and Alan Johnson, already a registered sex offender, in June 2012 when the phone turned up at Wal-Mart.
