The latest win for retired Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino came in the courtroom when Broward Circuit Judge John B. Bowman awarded nearly $23.2 million in prejudgment interest to the football legend and other high-profile investors in a failed real estate venture.

That eight-figure interest award follows a nearly $44 million verdict in March for two companies, Veranda Condominium I LLC and West City Realty Advisors LLC. Marino invested with billionaire Wayne Huizenga and former AutoNation Inc. executive Michael Maroone and others in the limited liability companies.
