Two Russian brothers have filed a legal malpractice lawsuit against Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur and its Naples managing partner, alleging they should have disclosed the existence of millions of dollars in real estate judgments against another client before the brothers invested $5 million with him.

Russian nationals Andrey Tolkachev and Oleg Tolkachev filed a complaint Tuesday against Porter Wright and Partner-in-Charge W. Jeffrey Cecil alleging one count each of negligence and breach of fiduciary duty. Javier A. Pacheco, an attorney in Porter Wright’s Naples office, said the firm was unaware of the lawsuit and could not comment until further review of the complaint.
