The Florida Bar has brought ethics charges against Miami attorney Ramon Manuel Rodriguez, accused of knowingly filing and prosecuting a frivolous perjury case against opposing counsel at Lewis Tein.

Rodriguez spent years pursuing his claims that attorneys Guy Lewis and Michael Tein committed fraud against the court during a wrongful death suit against defendants from the Miccosukee Tribe, according to the bar complaint. He made false allegations against the attorneys in proceedings before former Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Ronald Dresnick, then later continued the “frivolous” litigation against Tein and Lewis before the Third District Court of Appeal, the complaint said.
