Judge Robin Rosenbaum’s order allowing a whistleblower suit to proceed includes a gripping retelling of how a longtime cop found himself tailed and under scrutiny for reporting racial profiling within two law enforcement agencies.
It opens with an “ominous” be-on-the-lookout advisory, or BOLO, to all law enforcement, describing Officer Derrick Bailey as a “loose cannon” and “a danger,” with a warning to officers to “act accordingly.”
