South Florida law firms are representing four passengers who were on board an American Airlines flight bound for Miami that caught fire on the runway in Chicago.

Attorneys from Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock & Liberman and Kopelowitz Ostrow plan to file a federal lawsuit against American Airlines, plane manufacturer Boeing Co. and engine manufacturer General Electric Co., alleging the Flight 383 passengers suffered physical injuries and “tremendous anguish” during evacuation.
