A South Florida marketing agency that designed a website to promote singles clubs along the East Coast won a $2.55 million copyright infringement judgment earlier this month after one of its clients had the design copied and implemented by a different company.

Events, Adventures ‘N More Inc. commissioned the site to advertise activities such as rafting, horseback riding, wine tasting and travel and ultimately generated millions of dollars in profits by exploiting the copyrighted design, a federal jury found.
